Anthologies Connection Design Team Kit for April - My Designs

Well now, TODAY IS THE DAY!  You HAVE to rush over to ANTHOLOGIES BY ME and get this wonderfully fabulous kit!!!!  I had so much fun designing with it ;o)  You can check out everyone's design's when you go to the link.  Everyone's work is sooooo amazing, I am just drooling!

So...here are my designs that I submitted.

On this page I did machine sewing, inked around all edges.  On the journaling piece I distressed the edges and then inked them.  I used some toulle that was in the kit to make a button flower that one of the butterflies is on.

This page is of my sweet little grand daughter Gianna.  I cut out a flourish using my Sure Cuts A Lot program with my Cricut and then used Lime Twist Glimmer Mist on it.  I glimmer misted the flowers with Burnt Red, put a button in the middle and then added Turquoise Stickles to the centers.  I also cut out the letters of Gianna's name with the SCAL program and then glimmer misted those also with the Burnt Red.  You can't tell from the picture but I outlined her name and the flower with Dark Red (R89) Copic Marker for a very nice blending effect.  On the bottom picture I did a cut out technique to cut out the print paper and then slide the photo under it.

This is a small album I created using some vintage images from the internet.  I decided to name it "Painted Ladies" because it looks as if some of the ladies are "painted".   I inked the entire book with Distress Inks of  Pumice Stone and Old Paper, blending both colors together.  I cut out the letters and flourish with the SCAL program, and then glimmer misted with Meadow Green and Perfect Peach.  The Prima flower was glimmer misted with Perfect Peach and then I dotted Diamond Glaze around the edges and dipped the edges in Diamond Dust.

This painted lady, I named Madame Butterfly.  It is hard to see from the picture but she has a butterfly on her extended hand.  The flowers were punched out and then I just turned the edges up to give them some dimension.  The inking on this page was Old Paper and Pumice Stone.  Forest Green glimmer mist was used on the flourish.

I just love this little girl!  I glimmer misted the entire image with Sandy Beach and then used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink around the edge of the image.  I named this page "Flower Child" because of the flowers that she was holding.  Isn't she sweet?

This page is of my daughter Ariel.  We went on vacation last year to Wyoming and Colorado and I took her Senior Pictures there.  This is one of them.  This was a super fast and easy page to complete.  I made the fabric flower and then took a piece of fabric and gathered the edge and put buttons on it.  The birds I colored with Shock Pink (RV04) Copic marker and then covered with Fruit Punch Stickles.

And last but not least is a recipe card for my daughter's recipe album (she will be a chef).  If you haven't tried this cake then you need too!!!  If you can't read the recipe, just e-mail and I'll send it to you ;o)

Well I hope that you have enjoyed my designs that I have done for the first kit from Anthologies By Me.  Remember you can get the kit at www.anthologiesbyme.com

I hope that everyone has a blessed Easter weekend!
