A "Thrilling" Canvas

Here is my post for the Basically Bare Blog :)
Hi everyone Sandy here.  Thanks for taking a look at my first post here on the Basically Bare Blog. For this post I created this cute 6x12 canvas with my adorable grandson on it.  Isn't he just the cutest little thing?
Sandy HubbardIn October, Basically Bare did a swap with Authentique Paper and I was able to use their Thrilling Collection.  Let me just say that I loved it!

I first painted the canvas with Art Anthology's Dimensional Crystals and Sorbet.  Here are the colors that I used ;) Guava and Red Corvette Dimensional Crystals, and Chocolate, Outrageous Orange, Kenyan Copper and Red Velvet Sorbet.  On the title block I inked the edges with Distress Ink in Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo.

I then put the "Magic" label partially on the picture and used a Basically Bare door to a Happy Little House embellishment pack to point from the Thrilling Collection and it spells out "under my spell", which I thought was appropriate.

I used a quite a few Prima's, new and old on this.  I like to use plain white so that I can spray them to the exact color that I like.  The brown flower is one of the newer ones and then the others were white and I sprayed them with Art Anthology's Juicy and Paprika Spray.
I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my canvas and that it convinces you to take the plunge and make one for yourself.  They are really easy and fun to do!
Till next time,
Sandy
